About AFEyewear
AFEyewear was launched in 2009 to serve the eyewear needs of the United States Armed Forces and their families. In 2013, AFEwear teamed up with Sheer ID and that allowed them to expand and include veterans, retirees, and others. In 2020, they transitioned to a membership option through FramesDirect.com where they are a division. FramesDirect was founded in 1996 by Dhavid Cooper, OD, and Guy Hodgson, OD, who are both from South Africa. They launched FramesDirect.com later that year. They sell around 400 Brand names of eyeglasses and eyewear.. Their headquarters are in Austin, TX.
