About Best Western

The name, “Best Western” was used because most of the early properties were west of the Mississippi river. By 1962, they had the only hospitality reservations service covering the entire US. In 2019, Best Western purchased World Hotels and added 300 hotels to the chain.

Today, they have over 4,100 hotels worldwide, in over 100 countries, all 50 states, and Washington DC. Their headquarters are in Phoenix, Arizona. They have a 10% or more military discount.
