About Eagle Point
Conrad and Amy Koning determined that an area beneath Mount Holly in Beaver, UT had the potential to be a ski resort. Mount Holly Ski area then opened in 1972 with a double chair and T-bar. A small hotel was also built and opened in 1973. Elk Meadows opened in 1985 and in 1988, the two ski areas were merged together. In 1997, it was sold to a group from Portland, OR. Elk Meadows closed in 2002, then the resort changed hands in the 2000s. In 2009, it was known as Eagle Point with many different improvements. Their headquarters are in Beaver, UT
