About Hard Rock Cafe
They first opened in 1971 at Old Park Lane in Mayfair, London under the ownership of two young Americans, Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton. They started with more eclectic decor and later changed to more memorabilia.
The chain expanded worldwide in 1982 with locations in Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Paris, and Berlin. In 1995 they opened the Hard Rock Hotel near the Las Vegas strip.
They now have locations in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, the Middle East/Africa, the Pacific Rim, Asia and India, and Canada as well as around 30+ locations in the US.
