New Military Discounts For 2019: A Recap
As 2019 is coming to an end, let’s look back at the new military discount we saw this year. From a game store to online shops, make sure to add these new to 2019 military discounts to your list!
GameStop
GameStop, for new and used games and more, has a brand new military discount. They are offering 10% off on all new video games, accessories, all pre-owned games, hardware and accessories, and all collectibles. This discount is for in-store only, with a proper military ID. You can, however, verify online with ID.me. This new discount started on Veterans Day 2019 and will be valid all year long. It does not apply to sales, clearance or other promotional items.
Kohl’s
At Kohl’s, you can find anything from clothing for men, women or children as well as toys, home decor, and more. They added a Military Money this year which gives you 15% off in-store purchases every Monday. This discount is for service members and their family members with a valid military ID. You can use with dollar-off discounts, Kohl’s Cash, Yes2You Rewards, and promotional gifts.
Onnit.com
Onnit.com offers supplements, nutrient-dense and earth-grown foods and fitness equipment. They have a 15% off military discount that you receive when checking out. You will be verified by ID.me. This discount is for all military, not just limited to active duty.
Tribe CBD
Tribe CBD is a Colorado-based CBD brand with the goal of bringing the highest quality hemp CBD oil to the people at a favorable price. They now have a Veterans Assistance Program (VAP) to help bring affordable CBD to the veteran community. Military veterans who use this program will be able to receive 30% off all retail prices. You must provide proof of service and the discount is for veterans only and does not extend to family members.
Zenni Optical
At Zenni Optical, where you can find glasses for men, women, and children, they have added a 10% military discount on all purchases. This discount is for active military, veterans, reservists, and military spouses. You would click on the Military/First Responder link in the shopping cart and will then get verified by ID.me. This discount can’t be combined with other promotional codes or offers.
iFly
iFly is an indoor skydiving attraction but instead of falling you fly on a cushion of controlled air. They offer 20% off all First Time Flights to active and veteran military personnel and their families. The discount is valid from Monday through Friday at participating US locations. Select the First Time Flyer Package and click the ID.me button at checkout to verify and save.
Capri Tools
Capri Tools offers Torque tools, ratchets and sockets, wrenches, vices and clamping, and automotive tools. They offer a 10% off military discount to current and former military members. The discount can be applied to the full Capri Tools catalog and has no minimum spending limit. They offer free shipping within the continental US as well.
Pandora
Pandora is a music streaming service. They have started offering a 20% off military discount off Pandora Premium. Active duty, retirees, veterans, national guard, reservists, and dependents all qualify and will pay $7.99 a month instead of the regular price of $9.99. The subscription will renew until you cancel it and you will need to verify your eligibility.
World of Tanks
World of Tanks is a massively multiplayer online game featuring Mid-20th Century era combat vehicles. They now have a World of Tanks Salute. With this program, eligible military personnel tags their account with a “military” status which basically includes anyone who has honorably served, or who is still serving in the US Armed Forces. The accounts with the military tag get a free tank, free special style, discounted offers in the World of Tanks Premium Shop, exclusive bundles, special missions, and in-game events and more. You would need to verify your military status with ID.me.
As we look ahead to 2020 we can hope for even more military discounts to help us save a bit of money while shopping.
