Beyond streaming services, some newspapers, magazines, and cable companies offer military discounts on their services. You can find discounts on yearly subscriptions, or on memberships. Here is a list of 12 of them.

Fox Nation Military Discount

Fox News is offering a discount on its streaming service, Fox Nation. The discount is for all active duty military and veterans. You will receive a free year when you verify your military status through Sheer ID. This is available to both new and current subscribers.  For more info, please go here.

The New York Times

The New York Times is offering a military discount to military veterans, active duty service members, national guard and reserve members, and their families who have Veterans Advantage. The offer is for 50% off of their New York Times Home Delivery subscription service. The Washington Post

The Washington Post offers members of the military complimentary digital Washington Post access. You will need a valid .MIL or .GOV email address.  For more info, please go here.

The Salt Lake Tribune

The Salt Lake Tribune offers a $35 yearly subscription, which is a savings of more than 50% off the basic subscription rate. This would be valid for a year, then you would need to be re-verified. You would be verified with ID.me.  For more info, please go here.

Legacy Magazine

If you are an AUSA member, which is the Associate of the United States Army, you can get a 25% discount on Legacy Magazine. For more info, please go here.

ESPN Magazine

ESPN Magazine offers 87% off and a $10 Amazon gift card for members of the military with ID.me. For more info, please go here.

AARP Memberships

AARP is offering AARP Memberships to veterans, active duty military, and spouses at a 30% off military discount. This membership includes exclusive discounts, the AARP magazine, important information about health, Medicare, social security, and more. For more info, please go here.

MotorTrend

They may not have a current military discount! 

At MotorTrend, an American automobile magazine, you can find a 40% military discount on their streaming app for active duty military, veterans, and dependents. For more info, please go here.

DIRECTV

At DIRECTV, you can find an introductory Veterans Advantage offer on a new service. Get new service for $64.99 and a $300 gift card when you switch from Dish. For more info, please go here.

Cox Communications
