About Backyard Burgers
Back Yard Burgers first opened in Cleveland, Mississippi in 1987 by Lattimore M. Michael. The chain originally consisted of only drive-through restaurants without dine-in facilities. Today, most of the restaurants have added dine-in facilities. They now have 38 locations in the Southern and Midwestern United States. Their headquarters are in Nashville, Tennessee.
