The next time you decide to take your family out to eat, look at this list. Many restaurants offer military discounts which can save you at least a few dollars on your meal. Every year, more restaurants offer veteran and military discounts to our nation’s heroes.
While many discounts and deals are seasonal and only available on specific holidays, there are a growing number of establishments that offer regular daily discounts to veterans and military members.
A&W Restaurants
A&W Restaurants, serving all-American food with their signature root beer and root beer floats, offer a military discount at certain locations. The discount may vary depending on the location.

Applebee’s, a family restaurant, offers 10% off to active duty and veterans at participating locations.

This quick-serve burger joint offers a regular 20% discount to military service members.

Boston Market, offering fresh rotisserie meals, gives a 20% off military discount at participating locations. You can use your military ID to claim the discount in person when ordering.

At Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market, a Forest Gump-themed restaurant once offered 10% off military discount but we could not locate the offer on the official site at press time.

Buffalo Wild Wings Military Discount
This establishment has offered a regular 10% discount for military members. The discount is available only in participating locations and must be claimed in person with a military ID. At press time we could find no mention of the discount, it;’s best to ask when ordering.

Certain locations offer a 20% military discount when proper ID is shown.

Chuck-E-Cheese
Chuck-E-Cheese is an indoor play place with games, entertainment, and food. They offer a couple of packages to military guests. Active duty and their dependents, National Guard and reservists and their dependents, and retired service members qualify.
You can choose between:
- The Alpha package – a large 1-topping pizza, 4 drinks, and 45 play points for a special price.
- The Bravo Package – 2 large 1-topping pizzas, 4 drinks, and 100 play points for a special price.

At one time Hard Rock Cafe offered 15% off your food, non-alcoholic beverages, and retail purchases at participating Hard Rock Cafe locations. At press time we found discounts for Eurorail pass holders and members of the Harley Davidson Owner’s Club, but no military discounts were featured.

At Johnny Rockets, you can get an amazing hamburger, fries, and a shake to go with it. At some Johnny Rocket restaurants, you may be able to receive a 10% or more military discount. There is no listing of this discount on the Johnny Rockets official site.

Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub offers burgers, sandwiches, seafood, steak, and more. They have a 10% off military discount every day to members of the military and veterans.

Outback Steakhouse, with its Australian-themed decor and tasty steaks and chicken, once offered all service members 10% off of their entire check, all day, every day. The official site’s page that used to offer a military discount is now a signup page for its Dine Rewards program which is open to all applicants.

Red Robin serves burgers. They have a Red Robin royalty program. Signing up will get you rewards to celebrate the military. While this isn’t signing up for a certain % off each visit, you will receive discounts during the year.

Certain locations of this restaurant may offer a 10% military discount. We could find no mention of the discount on the official site at press time but you should present your military ID at checkout time to see if the discount applies at that location.

Texas de Brazil is a churrascaria steakhouse and offers a military discount. This is for 15% off dinner and lunch prices. This discount is not valid on holidays and is valid in the US only.

Remember This About National Restaurants with Military Discounts!
When it comes to military discounts, make sure to remember that many can depend on your exact location. Even if you were given a military discount in one city, that might not apply to another. If you have non-chain restaurants in your area, they might also give a military discount, so make sure to ask when you go to those places too. In most cases, you would show your military ID when you pay the bill to receive your military discount.
