Do you love to hunt, fish, or both? You can find some amazing military discounts on supplies, clothing, and more. Here is a list of military discounts for hunters and those who love to fish.  

Hunting and Fishing Military Discounts 

Allen Fly Fishing

Allen Fly Fishing offers all things needed for your next fishing trip. They offer a military discount for active, retired, or former military in the US Armed Forces. You would need to verify your eligibility with a DD214, a military email address, or another form of verification. They are connected with Sixgill Fishing.

Big 5 Sporting Goods

Big 5 Sporting Goods is a sporting goods store. They have a 10% military discount for all active duty, reserve military, retirees, veterans, their spouses, and dependents. You would need to show a valid ID or veteran status on your driver’s license. This is valid in-store only.

Carhartt

Carhartt is a US-based apparel company where you can find outerwear, headwear, gloves, and other clothing perfect for hunting or other outdoor adventures. They offer a military discount of 25% off apparel and accessories to active duty, veterans, retirees, military spouses, and military family members. You will need to verify your military ID through ID.me or show your military ID in stores.

Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops

Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops are specialty retailers of outdoor recreation merchandise where you can find anything you would need for your next hunting or fishing trip. They offer a 5% discount, every day, year-round, at US Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops stores. The discount is not valid on boats, trailers, and other vehicles, alcohol, gift cards, and non-merchandise services. Active military, veterans, retirees, and national guard and reservists qualify for this discount and you would need to show your military ID or be verified to use it online. 

Eders

Eders no longer offers a military discount since they now offer free membership to everyone. 

Eders is a store for professional bowhunters that sells archery and bowhunting equipment. They offer a free military membership for their Professional Bowhunter Buyers Club. Members will get an exclusive discount at Eders.com and Bowhuntingoutlet.com. With the membership, you can save between 4-45% on all items in both online stores. Memberships are usually $25.00 a year. This discount is for members of the military, retired, or honorably discharged. You would need to add a membership to your cart, without anything else in the cart, and then confirm you are military. After that, your discount will be shown.

Dunham’s Sports

Dunham’s Sports sells apparel, footwear, and items for hunting and other sports. They offer a 10% military discount on regular-priced purchases. Exclusions may apply. You would need to show your military ID when checking out in the store.

FishUSA

FishUSA is America’s tackle shop. They have a 10% military discount off items in their store. All military men and women, as well as veterans of all branches can qualify for this discount. You would first need to have an account at their store, and then be verified online. After you are verified you would then receive an email and they will apply the 10% discount to all the orders placed through your account. This discount can’t be combined with other offers, and can’t be used to buy gift cards, electronics, kayaks, or downriggers.

Gander Outdoors

Gander Outdoors sells hunting, fishing, and other outdoor items and is now Camping World. They have a military discount of 5% at their retail locations and at certain times of the year online. You would need to show your ID or your driver’s license with your veteran status on it. You can also show your DD214. This discount can’t be used with other promotions or select sale items. You can use the discount with their Good Sam Club Savings. Some items are excluded.

Guidefitter

Guidefitter is the ultimate source for guided hunts and fishing trips. They offer a discount for active duty, active reserves, the national guard, and veterans.  You would sign up using Facebook or your email address. 

Kuiu

Kuiu is an American hunting gear and apparel brand using a direct-to-consumer method. They offer a 10% military discount for active duty, veterans, retirees, the national guard, and reservists every day on www.kuiu.com and in the showroom. The discount cannot be used on sale or outlet items. Shoppers must create an account online and email from their military email address. You can also send in a copy of your DD214. After they verify your military affiliation, they will activate your discount.

Lowe Boats

Lowe Boats offers fishing and pontoon boats. They have discounts up to $900 on 2022 and 2021 model year new/unused/unregistered Lowe Boats. This discount is for all US military personnel that are:

  • Active duty
  • Reserves
  • National Guard
  • Honorably discharged
  • Retired
  • The spouses of the above

Proof of current or former honorable military enlistment is required. You would need to register on their website.

Lured By The Bead

Luredbythebead.com offers steelhead, trout, and salmon beads for every season. They offer a military discount and you will receive a personalized code.

Moosejaw

Moosejaw is an online and brick-and-mortar store specializing in outdoor recreation appeal and gear. They offer a 20% military discount for:

  • Active duty
  • National Guard and Reserves
  • Retired military
  • Veterans
  • Inactive reserves
  • Spouses and dependents

Online verification is required via ID.me. This cannot be combined with other offers and promotions.

Monster Fishing Tackle

Monster Fishing Tackle sells fishing tackle and gear such as rods, reels, and baits. They offer an 11% military discount for active and retired military members. First, you would need to sign up with an account. Once you contact them, know that they may ask for proof of service.

Provengo

Provengo is a hunting and fishing supply and clothing store. They offer government pricing for US military, active, reserve, or veterans. You will need to show a valid government email address. You can use this discount for duty or personal use. If you are logged in as a government user, you can see the government prices.

Sixgill Fishing

They may not currently have a military discount. 

Sixgill Fishing offers different brands of fishing products. They offer a US military discount program for active, retired, or former military. You would need to fill out a form with qualifications and verify your military service. In order to verify you can:

  • Send in a copy of your DD214
  • Provide your military email address
  • Other forms of identification accepted on a case-by-case basis

Tackle Direct

Tackle Direct says to be the “world’s premier fishing outfitter” and offer a military discount to military veterans. Simply email them or call on the phone to receive the discount.

Tackle Warehouse

Tackle Warehouse offers fishing rods, reels, baits, and more. They offer a 10% military discount on all orders. You would need to show a valid military ID or a copy of your DD214. After your information is verified, you will receive your discount code for 10% off. The discount can’t be used with other promotions and coupons.

Tightlines Alaska

Tightlines Alaska offers trips to fish on the Kenai River in South Central Alaska. They offer a 10% discount for members of the military.

Hope for Heroes

Hope for Heroes offers free sponsored events to allow disabled veterans to rebuild and enjoy what they used to do. The founder, Mitch Serlin, hosts yearly events at his personal lodge on 1600 acres in Burkesville, Kentucky. There they can do deep-sea fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking, camping/bbq, and more.

Freedom Hunters

Freedom Hunters is a military outreach program dedicated to honoring those who protect our freedoms. They take select:

  • Active duty
  • Combat veterans
  • Families of fallen heroes
  • Children of the deployed
  • Those who were wounded or injured on outdoor adventures such as hunting, fishing, and shooting

AAFES

You should also make sure to head to AAFES as they offer many different supplies for hunters and fishermen. All at tax-free prices. They also have a price matching program that can help save you even more money.
