MSC Cruises sail to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean (visiting also Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, their private island in the Bahamas), Northern Europe, South America, southern Africa, Asia, North America, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar and Egypt, and the Red Sea & Saudi Arabia. They offer 5-10% off of room rates as a military discount.
What is the discount?
MSC Cruises military discount can be applied to multiple staterooms, and they offer zero penalties if you have to cancel because of a deployment. They offer 5% off of interior and ocean staterooms, and 10% off of balcony, suite, and MSC Yacht Club staterooms. Kids also sail free on certain sailings.
Who’s Eligible?
Active and retired US and Canadian military personnel, plus family members including spouses, parents, in-laws, and dependent children qualify for this discount.

MSC stands for Mediterranean Shipping Company. In 1970, Gianluigi Aponte founded the Mediterranean Shipping Company with a single ship. In 1988, they announced their entry into the cruise business with the ship, Monterey. They took over the Lauro cruise line structures. Today they have a fleet of 23 with 8 ships planned for the future. Their headquarters are in Geneva, Switzerland.
