About Volkswagen
Volkswagen was established in 1937 in Berlin, Germany. A new factory was built in 1938, in Wolfsburg. During the war, production changed to military vehicles, and by 1946, the factory produced 1,000 cars a month. Volkswagen sold its first vehicle in the US in 1949, and Volkswagen America was formed in 1955. Over the years, Volkswagen found success with its models such as the Beetle, the Golf, the Jetta, the Passat, and more. In 2017, they announced that they planned to focus on electric vehicles to launch by 2025. Its headquarters are in Wolfsburg, Germany.
