Washington State has more than 60 thousand active duty and more than 15 thousand Guard/Reserve. There are over a million acres of DoD-managed land here, with a wide range of military missions represented by the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. There are also Coast Guard bases here, but at press time no Space Force bases.
