Vail Resorts Military Epic Pass

Vail Resorts offers a Military Epic Pass at 40 different ski resorts, including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Okemo Mountain, Park City, and more.

The regular cost of the Epic Pass is  $1,121 for adults (13 years and older) and $572 for children aged 5-12. The Epic Military Pass is $200 for active-duty personnel, active-duty dependents, retired military personnel, and retired dependents. Veterans can also obtain an Epic Military Pass for $640 for individuals aged 18 and above, and $200 for those aged 5-17.

The new Epic Friend Tickets are available to holders of the Epic Military Pass. This ticket doesn’t have a set price. Instead, you get 50 percent off a single-day lift ticket for your friend.

Big Bear Mountain Resort Military Discount

Big Bear Lake, California

Big Bear offers discounted lift tickets to active duty and their dependents all season long. The discount is for 25 percent off the ticket window rate for single-day lift tickets with no blackout dates. You can purchase tickets online when you verify with Sheer ID.

China Peak Mountain Resort Military Ski Pass

Lakeshore, California

China Peak has not revealed its one discounted all-day lift ticket price for military members as of this writing, but we do know that it offers a servicemember discount for 2025/2026 season passes of $419 for China Peak and $469 for Cali through October 31, 2025.

Crystal Mountain Military Ski Pass

Enumclaw, Washington

Crystal Mountain offers a 20 percent discount on midweek lift tickets. Discounts apply to first responders, active and retired military, medical workers, and teachers. To receive the discount, you must follow these steps.

Deer Valley Military Ski Pass

Park City, Utah

Deer Valley offers military discounts on daily lift passes. Discount days vary, and you must present a military ID at purchase time. Discounts are also available for military spouses and dependents.

Diamond Peak Ski Resort Military Pass

Incline Village, NV

Active duty servicemembers can receive a free lift ticket on midweek/non-peak days with a valid military ID.

Dodge Ridge Military Ski Pass

Pinecrest, California

At this resort, active-duty military members receive a military discount. The amount varies depending on the time of the season, demand, and other variables. At press time, there is a space on the official site noting a military discount, but the amount was listed as “TBD.”

Grand Targhee Resort Military Ski Pass

Alta, Wyoming

At this resort, you can find discounted lift tickets for military members. The discount is for a full-day lift ticket at 30 percent off. However, dependents pay full price.

Killington Military Express Ski Pass Discount

Killington, Vermont

Active duty, retired, and honorably discharged members can purchase discounted lift tickets online — you’ll just need to verify your status through SheerID during checkout. Once you’ve got your ticket, you can use it at both Killington and Pico Mountain.

For the 2025–26 winter season, ticket prices vary by date. Midweek military rates start around $71 for adults and $60 for seniors early and late in the season, with weekend and peak rates running between $111 and $159 for adults and $94 to $135 for seniors. Peak dates include major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Presidents’ Day weekend, so plan ahead if you want the best deal.

Killington also honors service members with free lift tickets on Veterans Day (Nov. 11, 2025) and on Memorial Day (May 26, 2026), when you can enjoy a free day of skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, or even golf—weather permitting. Keep in mind that military tickets are based on the resort’s maximum daily price, so if you see a lower rate online, go for that instead. Prices for online tickets rise closer to the date, but the military rate stays the same.

Mad River Glen

Waitsfield, VT

Active-duty members and those in the Vermont National Guard ski free on non-holiday weekdays, while veterans and retired military can enjoy midweek, non-holiday tickets for just $55. This program also applies to members of the Vermont National Guard. It doesn’t extend to dishonorably discharged individuals, DoD employees, or contractors.

Monarch Mountain Military Season Pass – Monarch Mountain Military Ski Pass

Salida, Colorado

Monarch Mountain is giving back to those who serve with a special military season pass of just $299 for the entire 2025–26 season. The pass is available to Active Duty members, Retirees, Reservists, and their dependents (ages seven and up) with a valid ID.

If you’re planning just a day trip instead, Monarch also offers discounted military day tickets at the window with a valid ID. Regular lift tickets range from $69 on standard days up to $119 on peak dates. Teens and juniors also get special pricing.

Mt. Shasta Ski Park Military Lift Tickets

Northern California

At this ski park, you can get a $50 lift ticket any day of the week with a military ID. Discounted tickets are for active and retired military, not family members.

Palisades Tahoe Military Discount for Military and Veterans

Lake Tahoe, California

Palisades Tahoe’s discounted Military Day Tickets for active duty servicemembers, vets, retirees, and the legal dependents of active duty members. These lift tickets come with a 30 percent discount off the regular window rate and are valid any day of the 2025–26 season, excluding December 27–31, 2025, January 17–18, 2026, and February 14–15, 2026. Tickets must be purchased either by phone or in person. Be sure to show a valid ID when making your purchase.

Sierra at Tahoe Military Discount

Twin Bridges, California

Sierra-at-Tahoe honors military members with its various military discounts.  The Unlimited Season Pass runs $509 for adults (ages 23–69), $429 for young adults (13–22), $219 for children (5–12), and $219 for super seniors (70+). Active-duty, retired, and veteran service members can enjoy the same perks as other unlimited season passholders, including 20 percent off food, rentals, lessons, and retail, plus “Bring a Friend” Fridays and reciprocal skiing at 17 Powder Alliance resorts.

For those who prefer more limited access, the Play Pass is $389 for adults and $369 for young adults, while Weekday Passes are available for $269 across adult, young adult, and senior categories.

Snowshoe Mountain Military Discount Ski Pass

Snowshow, West Virginia

For a military discount, you can get day tickets for 25 percent off with 10 percent off lodging. Additionally, Snowshoe Mountain offers a discounted unlimited Season Pass for $549.

Sun Valley Military Ski Pass 

Sun Valley, Idaho

Active-duty members can purchase Sun Valley’s Freedom Found or 15-Day Plus Season Pass for 50 percent off. The Freedom Found Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding on Bald and Dollar Mountains from opening day through December 12, 2025, and again from March 16, 2026, through closing day, plus up to 15 days between December 13, 2025, and March 15, 2026. The 15-Day Plus Pass includes 15 unrestricted days on both mountains with no blackout dates. Passes must be purchased over the phone at (888) 490-5950 or in person, and a valid military ID is required.

For day visitors, Sun Valley also extends a 50 percent discount on daily adult lift tickets to active-duty, retired, and veteran service members, along with their spouses and dependents under 18. These discounted tickets must be purchased in person.

Taos Ski Valley

Taos, New Mexico

Discounts on day passes for military members are available for $70 in celebration of Tao’s Ski Valley’s anniversary. They are available for purchase at the Ski Valley ticket window with a valid military ID.

White Face Mountain Military Ski Pass

Wilmington, New York

For the 2025–26 season, military members can enjoy big savings on lift tickets—50 percent off Monday through Friday on non-peak days and 25 percent off on weekends and holidays. Holiday periods include December 25, 2025, through January 1, 2026; January 17–19, 2026; and February 14–22, 2026.

This discount is available to all active U.S. military members, and their dependents, as well as veterans and their families. Active members of the Canadian military and their dependents with valid ID are also eligible.

Whitefish Mountain Resort Military Discount

Whitefish, Montana

Active-duty military personnel and their families can look forward to 50 percent off single-day lift tickets for all ages, with no blackout dates—just make sure to purchase in person, as the discount isn’t available for pre-purchased tickets.

Additional benefits include 50 percent off winter equipment rentals, group ski or ride lessons, and childcare at the Kids Center (reservations required), along with 30 percent off child ski/board and play packages and 25  percent off resort lodging. Veterans also receive 15 percent off the same products and services.

Winterplace Ski Resort Military Pass

Flat Top, West Virginia

Active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and their family members can purchase an all-day lift ticket for $55 and rent equipment for $32. These offers must be purchased in person.
