Visiting a water park for a day trip or longer stay is a great way for families to spend time together. Whether you are visiting on a warm summer day or going to an indoor water park in the middle of the winter, you can save a little money using military discounts. Here are a few water parks that offer them.
Aquatica
Aquatica is located in Orlando, FL, and is a part of the Waves of Honor Active Duty Military Promotion. The park has slides and pools, fun for the kids, and a dolphin close-up tour.
With Waves of Honor, active duty military, activated or drilling reservists, or national guard, will receive one complimentary admission per year to Sea World, Busch Gardens, Sesame Place, Aquatica, or Discovery Cove, plus tickets for up to three dependents.

Beach Park Waterpark
Beach Park Waterpark is on South Padre Island in Texas off the Gulf of Mexico. You can find a variety of water rides including the Sand Castle Cove and Wizard’s Waterways. At press time we could not locate a specific discount for military families, but the official site notes, “We have a variety of options for groups of 15 or more. Plus our waterpark supports active military members by offering military discount admission tickets.”
Enchanted Forest Water Safari
At the Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY, you can find water rides, amusement rides, arcade and games, and more. At the resort you can get a 10% military discount. You may be offered the child’s rate for up to four adults at the water park. Claim these military discounts by showing your ID.
Great Wolf Lodge
Great Wolf Resorts is a chain of indoor waterparks with over 19 locations nationwide. Each resort has a water park, featured restaurants, arcades, spas, and children’s activities. They offer a 30% military discount. Use the code “HEROES” when buying your tickets and show your military ID at the resort.
Seabreeze Amusement Park
The Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester, NY has a lazy river, a wave pool, thrill rides, and more. Active duty military and veterans receive free admission everyday of the season. Show your military ID at the gate or use a promo code you receive at the official site.
Six Flags White Water
Six Flags White Water is in Marietta, GA. They have water slides, a lazy river, thrill rides, and more. They offer a military discount on daily admission for active duty and retired military members.
Splash Lagoon
Splash Lagoon is an indoor water park resort in Erie, PA. You can find attractions such as the Flowrider, slides, pools, and more. They have a Hero Discount of 25% on tickets for military members. You must show your ID at the park and the service member must be present.
Splashway Waterpark and Campground
At Splashway in Sheridan, TX, you can find attractions such as Summit Plummet, Texas Twist, and the Blueper Looper. You can save $10 on your season pass or find specialty-priced daily admission.
Wet’N Wild Emerald Pointe
Wet’N Wild Emerald Pointe, located in Greensboro, NC, has attractions such as a lazy river, Thunder Bay Wave Pool, and more. At press time there is a military discount section of the official site but there is no discount listed, only “coming soon.”
