The Home Depot offers military, veterans, and military spouses a 10% discount on in-store and online purchases.

The Military Discount is for 10% off the price of in-stock purchases for qualifying military members and spouses. There are additional savings possible thanks to Home Depot and The Exchange partnering to allow the BX/PX and Navy Exchange to offer Home Depot goods on The Exchange official site.
Who’s eligible? Are veterans eligible for the discount?
Active members and veterans of the following military branches are eligible to enroll:
- Army
- Navy
- Air Force
- Marine Corps
- Coast Guard
- Space Force
- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
- US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (USPHS)
- National Guard/Reserves
Additionally, the current spouse of an eligible service member who is currently enrolled can take advantage of The Home Depot Military Discount.
How Do I Get the Home Depot Military Discount?
To enroll, visit their website or open your smartphone’s Home Depot mobile app. You will either log in or create a new account, then head to the Military Discount page.
Once there, select the “Verify Military Status” option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your verification. Once you’ve finished, your personal account, both online and in app, will reflect your verified military status.
Home Depot uses SheerID as a third-party verification service. Verifying the information you provide usually takes less than 5 minutes.
Using the Home Depot Military Discount
You can use the discount online and in-store.
For online purchases, log in to your account and the discount on all eligible items will be applied at checkout once you’ve enrolled.
For in-store purchases, use your Virtual ID at checkout and the discount will be applied. You will discover your Virtual ID during the enrollment process.
