There are many different hotels with military discounts. They will allow you to save money on your accommodations whether you’re traveling on orders, on leave, or just taking an extended weekend away. The military discounts on hotels below are current at press time, but these travel discounts are subject to change at any time.

Military members can find savings on hotels when registering with ID.me. Hotels.com offers 8% off for qualifying hotel stays. Blackout dates may apply.

Travelocity

Save on hotel stays and related bookings when you use ID.me at Travelocity. Current deals are offered from this travel broker are offered in the form of cash back, but your experience may vary. Your savings may be offered for non-official travel, but military ID may be required at checkout time.

Expedia

Expedia is another travel broker offering military discounts for travel, including hotel stays. Like Travelocicity, current promotions are offered in the form of cash back. Register with ID.me to claim your discounts. Blackout dates may apply.

Best Western

Best Western Hotels and Resorts in North America offer military rates for veterans, and military and government personnel.

Choice Hotels

Choice Hotels properties include Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Econo Lodges, and more. Choice Hotels offer government rates on one or two-person rates for military personnel, their dependents, and members of several government/military associations.

Homewood Suites by Hilton

Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotels offers government rates to state, federal, and United States Military employees. These Suites are great places to stay during a PCS or for traveling.

Military Discounts on Air Travel

Some airlines offer a discount on the price of your flight and others give a break on their baggage claim fees. Each airline has its own promotional programs for military members and families. Some military air travel discounts require you to be traveling on official orders, while others. may allow you to purchase for leisure travel. Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines offers government rates and special military airfare rates. Some rates may be good on official travel only, while others may be specifically for vacation travel and other non-official purposes.

Delta Airlines

Delta Airlines offers a discount on tickets to active members of the United States military but you must call to receive this special rate. They also offer active duty military more free bags than civilian customers and offer military medical travel discounts if you have a war-injured immediate family member or domestic partner.

JetBlue Airlines

JetBlue Airlines offers discounts on tickets for active duty military personnel and their immediate family. WeSalute members can receive 5% off of their tickets using WeSalute.

United Airlines

United Airlines offers military discounts to United States military veterans, active duty military, National Guard, Reserve members, and their families, and there are additional perks for those signed up with WeSalute.

Allegiant Airlines

Allegiant has a Military Discount section, but at press time that section had information on “select free benefits” including:

  • Up to two (2) pieces of checked baggage.
  • No charge for oversized checked baggage,
  • One (1) carry-on bag within Allegiant size limits.
  • One (1) personal item within Allegiant size limits.
  • Free boarding pass printing at the airport.

Hawaiian Airlines

Save on leisure travel when you book on Hawaiian Airlines via ID.me. Current promotions are cash back, but your experience may vary. Hawaiian Airlines flights must be concluded within 180 days of bookings to be eligible for military travel discounts. 

Military Discounts on Amusement Parks

Dollywood Military Discount

Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN offers a military discount for one-day admission for active, retired, disabled veterans, military reservists, spouses, and dependents. Verify with ID.me

Disneyland and Disney World Military Discounts

Disneyland and Walt Disney World have an amazing military discount on multiple-day Park Hopper passes. You can buy passes at Disneyland, at either your military installation, or at the park, and passes at Walt Disney World at your military installation or at Shades of Green Military Resort.

These discounts are for active-duty military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, as well as veterans and retired military personnel. Each service member or spouse can purchase up to six of these discounted tickets.

Universal Studios Military Discount

Universal Studios offers military discounts depending on the park and where you buy your tickets. At Universal Studios in Hollywood, you may qualify for a military discount when you buy your tickets on your military installation. According to Universal Studios, “Tickets for these specially priced offers must be purchased in advance and can only be obtained from participating Military Ticket Offices throughout the United States.”

SeaWorld Military Discount and Waves of Honor

With the Waves of Honor program, you can qualify for a military discount on tickets to SeaWorld parks in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego, Busch Gardens in Tampa, or Sesame Place. Discounts may vary depending on location according to SeaWorld.

Busch Gardens Military Discount

Busch Gardens offers a special discount for military members. Veterans, retirees, and IRR service members who have previously served with an honorable discharge can receive discounted tickets. You must verify with ID.me.
