Universal Studios Hollywood Military Discount
Universal Studios Hollywood has a park, a working movie studio, and many different rides, shows, and attractions. The Universal Studios Hollywood Military Discount offers discounts for military members and their families.
Universal Studios Military Freedom Pass
- Available for use through 12/19/2025.
- Blockout dates apply:12/25/2024 – 1/2/2025 and 4/14/2025 – 4/20/2025
- Choose From 2-Park or 3-Park options.
- Eligible Service Members can purchase and activate up to six (6) promotional tickets.
- Must present valid U.S. military photo ID at any Universal Orlando theme park front gate ticket window in order to activate tickets
Purchase these tickets exclusively at the nearest Military Ticket & Travel Office at a base near you.
How to Get the Universal Studios Hollywood Military Discount
For the best deal on tickets, you must have access to a military installation and purchase them there via the Military Ticket Program offered by MWR. You can not purchase these tickets at the gate. Contact your nearest base’s MWR office to learn more.

The ID.me discount has in the past included:
- 1-Day General Admission – Save $4 per person on your 1-Day General Admission ticket
- Universal Express – Save $4 per person with a Universal Express ticket and skip the regular line. Express access is a separate line with a shorter wait time. (Does not apply to food and retail locations or non-seated shows.)
- Pass Products – Save $20 per pass on either the California Neighbor Pass or Silver Annual Pass
Who’s Eligible For the Discount?
Both discounts are available to:
- Active Duty
- Retirees
- 100% disabled veterans
- Medal of Honor Recipients
- Active Guard and Reserves
- Spouses and Dependent ID cardholders of the above categories (or DOD NAF/GS employee, “if applicable”).
A valid military ID or US Government ID is required for purchase.
How To Get the Universal Studios Orlando Military Discount
As mentioned above, buy your discount tickets at your local MWR office.
