Carowinds, a family amusement park in Charlotte, NC, offers military discounts when verifying with ID.me. These discounts are valid on Veterans Day or at any other time of the year.
Legoland Florida
Legoland Florida, in Winter Haven, Florida, outside of Orlando, offers reduced-price one-day tickets to Legoland Florida.
Knott’s Berry Farm
At Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA, you can find Military Tribute Days at this family amusement park, and those dates include Veterans Day. During Tribute Days, Active, Retired, and Veteran U.S. Military Personnel may receive discounted admission to Knott’s Berry Farm for 5 guests. Purchase online or in person. You can also save more by purchasing Knott’s Berry Farm tickets at your nearest military base’s Military Ticket Office or MWR equivalent.
Six Flags America
Six Flags America offers free admission for veterans on Veterans Day Weekend. Friends and family of military members qualify for reduced-price tickets during the Veterans Day weekend. Show ID at purchase time.
Zoos with Military Discounts, Discounts for Veterans Day
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, WA, offers veterans and active duty military members free admission, as well as half-price tickets for their families on November 9-11, 2024, Veterans Day.
Zoo Atlanta
At Zoo Atlanta, in Atlanta, GA, veterans, active duty, retired, and reserve members are offered free admission every day including Veterans Day.
Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden
Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden in Cincinnati, OH, offer free admission to all military members on Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Veterans Day. This offer is for active duty, retired military, National Guard, veterans, and ROTC.
Sedgwick County Zoo
Sedgwick County Zoo, in Wichita, KS offers free admission to active duty and veterans as well as their immediate families on Veterans Day, November 11 in the past. Families of deployed service members can also get in on the deal with a valid military ID.
San Antonio Zoo
The San Antonio Zoo in San Antonio, Texas, offers active duty, retired, veterans, National Guard, and reserves free admission. Up to 4 family members can receive 50% off standard admission at the ticket window. These discounts are valid during the month of November.
Zoo New England: Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo
At Zoo New England, at both the Franklin Park Zoo location in Boston, MA, and Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA, veterans can receive free admission on November 11th. You must show your military ID at purchase time.
Nashville Zoo
At the Nashville Zoo in Nashville, TN, the Nashville Zoo hosts Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Active duty, veterans, and their immediate families will receive free admission. Show your military ID or other proof of service.
Brevard Zoo
At Brevard Zoo, in Melbourne, FL they have offered current military and veterans a complimentary general admission to the zoo. Proof of service is required.
Aquariums
Newport Aquarium
Traditionally, Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY, offers free admission to active and retired military, disabled military, reservists and other qualifying groups on Veterans Day. Call ahead if you have a large group or need multiple discounts.
Aquarium of the Pacific
Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA, offers free admission to active military, and veterans on Veterans Day. Reserve tickets online. Friends and family can also buy tickets at your local MWR/ITT office.
Mystic Aquarium
At the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT, military veterans and active duty military get complimentary general admission throughout the year. Tickets need to be reserved in advance.
