Breckenridge is an alpine ski resort located in Breckenridge, CO. It is one of the most visited ski resorts in the western hemisphere. Breckenridge is 2,908 skiable acres, with 33 lifts and 155 runs. The resort is also one of the 37 resorts you have access to with the Military Epic Pass with Vail Resorts.

History of Breckenridge Ski Resort
The mountain opened in 1961, and in 1970 the resort was purchased by the Aspen Skiing Company and was then expanded. In 1979, an alpine slide was constructed. It was purchased by Vail Resorts in 1996 and has gone through a couple of expansions, one in 2002, and one in 2013.
