NASCAR Military Discounts
NASCAR and GOVX.com have joined forces to provide discounts to military members, first responders, and government employees.
To make NASCAR races more affordable, GOVX now serves as the Presenting Sponsor and Official Verification Partner for NASCAR’s Miltix program, which offers discounted tickets to eligible service members.

Military Discounts on NASCAR Race Tickets
According to a press release on the NASCAR official site, this program offers discounted race tickets of 15% off or more to NASCAR-owned tracks nationwide.” Eligible service members can access the discounts through the websites for NASCAR and GOVX.
“Since the inception of our sport, honoring members of the military has been a big piece of the fabric that makes up NASCAR and, in partnership with GOVX, the Miltix program is one of many ways we’re able to do that,” according to Michelle Byron, NASCAR executive vice president, chief partnership and licensing officer who was quoted in a NASCAR press release on the partnership.
Byron adds, “There is nothing better than the at-track NASCAR experience, and thanks to GOVX and the Miltix program, it’s even easier for current and former members of the military to access that experience.”

A History of Support
NASCAR has a history of supporting military communities, and GOVX specializes in providing discounts to government service personnel. The Department of Defense has worked with NASCAR, including sponsoring a Space Force-branded car.
There have even been military members behind the wheel of NASCAR cars on a professional basis. Navy Reserve Lt. Jesse Iwuji was the first Navy officer to race for NASCAR. He was featured in a 2018 DoD press release announcing his work for NASCAR.
The NASCAR/GOVX partnership extends beyond ticket discounts. The partnership is meant to “strengthen the connection” between the racing world and those in service. According to NASCAR, this includes signage at NASCAR events, social media promotion, and commercial features during race broadcasts.
On that front, the GOVX official site notes, “NASCAR recently signed a new media deal, which means that GOVX is about to get some screen time. Catch us featured on NASCAR broadcasts all season long on NBC, FOX, TNT, Amazon Prime, and The CW Network.”
