What is the Discount?

The Military Discount is for 10% off the price of in-stock purchases made by eligible participants.

There is a $400 maximum annual discount that resets each calendar year.

How Do I Get the Home Depot Military Discount?

To enroll, visit homedepot.com/military/discount, or open the Home Depot mobile app on your smartphone. You will either log in or create a new account, then head to the Military Discount page.

Once there, select the “Verify Military Status” option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your verification. Once you’ve finished, your personal account, both online and in app, will reflect your verified military status.

Home Depot uses SheerID as a third-party verification service. The process to verify the information you provide usually takes less than five minutes.

Partnership with Home Depot

In the Spring of 2023, there will be a new partnership between the Exchange and Home Depot. The partnership will include improved delivery and installation services. According to Military Times, Karen Cardin, who is the chief merchandising officer for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, announced this partnership.

The partnership will start with AAFES and NEX. You would be able to buy at the Exchange, and the orders will be filled by Home Depot. This should be a good addition and allow for a smoother process when buying appliances at the Exchange.
