Walgreens and Duane Reade Offer a Veterans Day Military Discount
To celebrate the the nation’s military and honor those who serve, Walgreens and Duane Reade locations offer a four-day in-store discount to qualifying veterans, active-duty military personnel and family members over the Veterans Day weekend.
Walgreens and Duane Reade stores will have regular business hours on Veterans Day. For patient needs, 24-hour Walgreens pharmacies will be open, and select non-24-hour pharmacies will be open with modified hours. The Walgreens store locator may be used to check local store and pharmacy hours.
What is the military discount at Walgreens on Veterans Day?
From Friday, Nov. 8, through Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, you can save 20% off regularly priced products at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.
The offer is for veterans, military personnel, and their families. During the promotion, they can receive 20 percent off regular-price eligible store items* at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.
According to the official site, those who use the myWalgreens customer loyalty program may qualify for additional benefits, such as “earning one percent Walgreens Cash rewards storewide and five percent on Walgreens branded products.”

Restrictions may apply, according to the official site. “Discount not valid on alcohol, dairy, tobacco, stamps, gift cards, newspapers, magazines, money orders/transfers, transportation passes, lottery tickets, charitable donations, pseudoephedrine or ephedrine products, clinic services, prescriptions, pharmacy items or services, sales tax, Prescription Savings Club membership fee, and items or services submitted to insurance for reimbursement or where otherwise limited by law.”
