Stacking Military and Store Discounts

Finding a good military discount is always exciting, but finding a place with a military discount that you can also combine with a store discount or coupon is even better. Not every store will do this, but some allow stacking military discounts on top of store discounts.

Some stores have special promotions or coupons that are easy to find online or in your local paper. Others have sales and BOGO specials that can save you quite a bit of money. Here is a list of stores that will let you combine a military discount with a store discount or promotion:

7-Eleven

While the 7-Eleven military discount varies by location, some allow you to combine it with other offers and coupons.

Whirlpool

Whirlpool offers 15% savings for those who create an account. This offer is stackable with other promotions, see the Whirlpool official site for details.

Big Lots

Big Lots has a year-round 10%  military discount.  The Big Lots military discount is available to active military personnel and veterans and is available nationwide in all of their stores.  Please go here for more on the Big Lots military discount.

Joann Fabric

They also might have more of a percentage off during special times of the year, such as 15 % off. You should be able to use the discount with a store coupon. Please go here for more on the Joann Fabric military discount.

Kirkland’s

You would not be able to do so online.  Please go here for more on the Michael’s military discount.

Rack Room Shoes

At Rack Room Shoes you will be able to receive a 10% military discount. You can use this discount with their BOGO 50% off deals, sales prices, other coupons, and promotional offers. You’re right to ask for more examples! It can be tricky to find places that allow stacking military discounts. Here are a few more to consider, but remember to always double-check with the specific location:

To make the most of your military discount, always ask about their policy beforehand and check for any restrictions on combining offers.

Important to Remember About Stacking Military Discounts

Remember that not all stores will have the same policies regarding military discounts and coupons. Asking the store if they combine them is always a good idea, so you don’t miss out on extra savings. You should also remember that if you do have to choose, the military discount may or may not be the best deal when it comes to saving money.

Military discounts and promotion policies can change year to year so make sure to double-check any discount before you assume they will honor that discount. You don’t want to assume you will receive 20% off when they have changed the discount to 10% off or that they have decided to no longer let you combine a military discount with their coupons.
