The 4th of July is to celebrate America’s birthday and a lot of families have at least a few days off to make memories together and have some summer fun. Here is a list of companies with special 4th of July sales and discounts for military and veterans.
Ikea
There is a large July sale featuring up to 50% off select items at this furniture retailer famous for its assemble-yourself shelving, entertainment centers, and related products. The sale ends July 9, 2024.
REI
Save up to 40%on select outdoors gear for men, women, and kids. Sale prices end July 4th.
Crate And Barrel
Offering up to 60% off on select warehouse items for the house, dorm, or apartment.
Ashley Furniture
There is a sitewide sale with a variety of discounts on select furniture and accesories for the home. Ashley features a July 4th themed “red, white, and new” sale and special financing options at the official site.
Target
Target offers military and veterans a discount of 10% off both online and in-person shopping. The discount is valid until July 6th, 2024.
Walgreen’s
Walgreens offers 20% off eligible regular-priced items when you sign up for MyWalgreens. This is in-store only. You can use this discount from July 4st through July 7th, 2024.
Academy Sports
At Academy Sports, a sporting goods store, you can find a 10% military discount through July 6th. The discount is good both online and in person. You would need to be verified on ID.me or present your military ID when checking out.

Caesars Entertainment
At Caesars Entertainment, you may qualify for up to 10% off on your hotel stay when verified with ID.me. There doesn’t seem to be a special discount for the 4th of July this year.
Rack Room Shoes
At Rack Room Shoes there is a featured in-store-only 10% military discount every Tuesday. In addition to that, they offer a 20% military discount on the 4th of July, as well as Memorial Day and Veterans Day. The discount is for military members, the reserves, and their families. Show your military ID when checking out.

At Bass Pro Shops sporting goods store, you can find their Star Spangled Summer Sale.

Carter’s
Carter’s, selling children’s clothing, has had 4th of July sales of 25% off their entire site and store in the past. At press time we couldn’t find a 4th of July sale but rather one branded a “summer sale”. for 2024.
Crocs
Crocs footwear has had Independence Day sales in the past, but in 2024, there doesn’t seem to be a 4th of July-specific sale, but there is a large collection of Crocs on sale.
JCPenney
JCPenney’s has a 4th of July sale featuring up to 50% off and more savings when applying coupons.
Michael’s
At Michael’s, a craft and decor store, they are having a Red, White, and Blue sale featuring up to 50% off select 4th-themed items.
Old Navy, the Gap, and the Banana Republic
At Old Navy, they offer 50% off select clothing and accessories. The Gap and the Banana Republic are also having sales of a similar nature, as they are owned by the same parent company, Gap Inc.

Einstein Bros. Bagels
At this bagel store, you have been able to pre-order red, white, and blue bagels in the past.
Krispy Kreme Donuts
At this donut shop, you can find red, white, and blue-themed donuts.
Bruegger’s Bagels
At Bruegger’s, a bagel shop, in the past, you have been able to pre-order red, white, and blue bagels.
Mrs. Field’s Cookies
At this cookie shop, you can find many different patriotic treats such as red, white, and blue cookies. They have also offered a Big Bang Box and a 4th of July sale for 20% with a code in the past. In 2024, don’t miss their sale page.
In addition to these 4th of July military discounts, there are plenty of other military discounts going on year-round, from Disneyland, to discount for kids, to airlines. Always check for a military discount when you are on vacation, or just out and about in town, as doing so will help you save a little bit of money while having fun with your spouse and family.
