Memorial Day Discounts for Military & Veterans 2025
Memorial Day is a time to honor all those who have served and lost their lives for our country. We take the day to think about the friends and family we have lost, pray for their loved ones, and remember their sacrifice.
The holiday weekend is also about celebrating, and local retailers offer incentives, military discounts, and special promotions to honor the last weekend in May.
Here are some discounts we have found to use this Memorial Day weekend. In many cases, the deals are offered at participating locations only. Your experience may vary depending on the retailer and other variables. All deals are current at press time but are subject to change at any time.
Restaurants with Military Discounts for Memorial Day
Some deals below are offered year-round, some only during May, and some are restricted to Memorial Day weekend.
McCormick and Schnick’s
According to the official site, ” experience a dining experience unlike any other,” where “every meal is a celebration of culinary craftsmanship and timeless elegance.” This steak-and-seafood restaurant offers unique Memorial Day specials.
Taco Bell
Not specifically mentioned as a Memorial Day promotion, Taco Bell offers savings on delivery via Uber One through the end of May.
Sonic Drive-In
Participating locations may offer discounts or freebies for military members on Memorial Day.
Cracker Barrel
You may find a local military discount at Cracker Barrel. Memorial Day has traditionally included special deals and refreshments such as the Rocket Pop Mimosa and the Signature Southern Fried Chicken Meal Basket.
Chili’s
Participating locations may offer a military discount when you show your ID at checkout time.
Wendy’s
WeSalute members can get military discounts at Wendy’s on Memorial Day. Participating locations may offer additional perks or discounts the weekend of Memorial Day for qualifying military members, veterans, and their families. Show your ID at checkout time.
Fuddrucker’s
Fuddrucker’s maintains a list of locations on its official site that may offer a military discount.
Denny’s
Participating locations may offer up to 20% off when showing your military ID at checkout time.
Joe’s Crab Shack
Joe’s Crab Shack offers 15% off to US military members and veterans on Memorial Day.
Firebirds Grill
Participating locations may offer military discounts on Memorial Day. Show your military ID at checkout time.
Kona Grill
Participating Kona Grill locations may offer up to 20% to active duty, veterans, and first responders in honor of Memorial Day.
Mission BBQ
Offers free sandwiches to qualifying military members to celebrate Military Appreciation Month. Participating may vary depending on location.
Outback Steakhouse
10% off with military ID at participating locations. The Outback official site notes, “One discount per table.”
Pie Five Pizza
Participating locations have offered discounted or free pizza to military personnel, veterans, and retired military personnel on Memorial Day. This pizza joint offers discounts online via its Pie Five Instagram account.
Woody’s Pacific Beach
Is celebrating Memorial Day Weekend with a 25% discount on meals for active military personnel, veterans, and their guests.
Fun Places to Go with Memorial Day Discounts
National Parks
Offers a free Military Pass to current US military members and dependents as well as a free Lifetime Military Pass for Gold Star Families and Veterans. This pass is available year-round and provides access to parks during Memorial Day weekend.
Dollywood
Invites military members to take part in their Public Employee Appreciation Days, which includes discounted tickets for up to six guests covering the Memorial Day period.
Busch Gardens Parks
Offers free one-day admission to US military veterans and up to three guests who register by May 11, 2025, and visit by July 6, 2025. This offer celebrates Military Appreciation Month and covers the Memorial Day period. Active-duty military and their guests receive year-round complimentary admission.
Six Flags
Offers free or discounted park admission at select locations for active military retirees and veterans from May 23 through May 26, 2025, encompassing the Memorial Day Weekend. They also make discounted tickets available for family and friends.
SeaWorld Parks
SeaWorld Parks offer free one-day admission for US military veterans and up to three guests, similar to Busch Gardens. This promotion is part of their Military Appreciation Month celebration, which extends through Memorial Day. Active-duty military and their guests get year-round complimentary admission. The link is to San Diego SeaWorld, but you’ll find military discounts offered at other participating locations.
Colonial Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg is a historical experience for your entire family in Williamsburg, Virginia. They are a part of the Blue Star Museum program and offer complimentary admission “once annually for Active-duty Military, Reservists, National Guard Personnel, Retired military and veterans and up to three direct dependents,” according to the official site.
Reid Park Zoo
Reid Park Zoo, in Tucson, AZ, welcomes veterans, those on active duty, their families, and families of deployed military to the zoo with a special discount on Memorial Day.
SunSplash Family Waterpark
SunSplash, located in Cape Coral, FL, offers one free single-day admission for active or retired military and disabled veterans on Memorial Day weekend.

Coleman offers a Memorial Day sale on all things related to enjoying the holiday, including coolers, outdoor cooking gear, and tents.
Crocs
Save up to 25% when you register with ID.me this weekend.
Under Armor
Under Armor features an entire page of “holiday deals” for Memorial Day. Find discounted shoes, tees, and accessories on sale this weekend.
Best Buy
At press time, this page of Best Buy deals on electronics, appliances, and computer accessories isn’t branded as a specific Memorial Day promotion, but there are plenty of savings to be had this weekend at Best Buy.
Target
Offers much for military families this Memorial Day. At press time there were more than 275 deals to be had at the Target Memorial Day page.
7-Eleven Brands
Memorial Day offers a variety of 7-Eleven discounts for all shoppers, not just military families. From snack deals to discounted delivery service, the holiday is full of deals at 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores.
Sherwin Williams
During the Memorial Day holiday weekend you’ll find a variety of discounts and perks including 30% off paints and stains.
Gap/Old Navy
The Gap and Old Navy (both owned by the same parent company) offer a variety of sales and discounts during the Memorial Day holiday.
Epic Pass
While few are thinking about ski slopes during Memorial Day, Epic Pass offers its lowest discounted rates of the year during the Memorial Day holiday. There are special Epic Pass prices for military families, so the savings could really add up over the weekend.
84 Lumber
Doubles its in-store military discount to twenty percent for veterans and active duty service members throughout May 2025, honoring Military Appreciation Month, which includes Memorial Day.
Academy Sports + Outdoors
Offers 10% off your entire purchase in-store and online for active service members, veterans, and first responders from April 27, 2025, through July 4, 2025, extending past Memorial Day weekend.
Avocado Green Mattress

Typically offers a military discount off your entire purchase in stores on Memorial Day.
Walgreens
Offers a Memorial Day discount on eligible regular-priced items for veterans, military members, and their families from May 24, 2025, to May 27, 2025. This deal may require a myWalgreens membership and proof of service.
Columbia Sportswear
Typically increases their year-round military discount to twenty percent off to honor Military Appreciation Month and Memorial Day.
