Fanatics is an online retailer of licensed sportswear, sports equipment, and merchandise. They also operate the e-commerce websites of major professional sports leagues, MLB, NASCAR, NBA, NFL, NHL, PGA, MLS, and UFC, major media brands, and over 150 collegiate and professional team properties. They are also an exclusive online distributor for the US Olympic team.
Fanatics was formed in 1995 and was started when brothers Alan and Mitch Trager opened Football Fanatics, a brick-and-mortar store in the Orange Park Mall in Orange Park, Florida. The store focused on the Jacksonville Jaguars and local collegiate team merchandise.
In 1997 they opened a 2nd store in Avenues Mall in Jacksonville, Florida. They then focused on gaining an online focus. In 2019, Fanatics and Walmart reached a deal to sell apparel on Walmart’s website.
They are headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
