RV Mattress is by Brooklyn Bedding and Brooklyn Bedding was started by two brothers, John and Rob Merwin, who were known as the “mattress whisperers.” Brooklyn Bedding was named after one of John’s daughters. They started as liquidators but wanted to build their own better mattresses and started selling their own in 1995 in Phoenix, AZ. They also started selling mattresses on Amazon and that led to selling directly on BrooklynBedding.com. In 2008, John launched the bed-in-the-box concept. They opened their first permanent showroom in Las Vegas in 2018 and their headquarters are in Glendale, AZ.
